The Schoppa family has been in Pinedale, Wyoming now since December 1, 2007 and we are so grateful to be here!
This is how Pinedale looked when we came in August in view of a call. It has changed a lot since then! We are thoroughly enjoying the snow that can be found everywhere. The weather is cold but it truly is different than a cold day in Louisville. The lack of humidity makes a huge difference. The night that we drove in it was 5 degrees below zero but it was not as bad as you are thinking. The coldest that it has gotten since our arrival has been 25 below zero. The biggest problem that morning was when Darrell went outside to warm up the car, the door handle snapped off in his hand. I had no idea that Honda Accords had plastic door handles that get very brittle in extreme cold. Even with this minor set-back we are not in a great hurry for warm weather yet.
